Standard processing with the California Secretary of State typically takes 3–5 business days after submission. VIP clients receive expedited 24-hour processing. Processing times can vary depending on state volume.

Yes — California requires every LLC to have a registered agent (also called an Agent for Service of Process). You can designate yourself, another person, or a registered agent service. We'll walk you through this in your intake form.

An EIN (Employer Identification Number) is your business's tax ID number — like a Social Security Number, but for your LLC. You need it to open a business bank account, hire employees, and file taxes. We recommend it for all new LLCs. It's included in the Growth and VIP packages, or available as a $95 add-on with the Starter.

California requires every LLC to file a Statement of Information (Form LLC-12) within 90 days of formation, then every 2 years. It updates the state with your registered agent, address, and member information. We handle this initial filing for you — it's included in all packages.

Yes! Starter clients can add the Business Essentials Add-On ($95) at any time after purchase. Contact us at any point and we'll get you set up with the additional services you need.

We currently file LLC formations exclusively with the California Secretary of State. If your business is based outside California, please contact us to discuss your options.
